Jason Brooks is an actor, director, and special FX artist from the Pacific Northwest. Working in Independent film since 2003, his career took off in 2017 when he was cast to play Jason Voorhees in the fan-favorite crowd-funded indie film, Friday the 13th Vengeance. Jason's portrayal spawned his return appearance in three more films as this iconic slasher. In addition to his appearance in Friday the 13th Vengeance 2 Bloodlines, which Jason also wrote and directed, he created and led the award-winning special FX that set the movie apart from all those before it. With the success of Bloodlines, Jason partnered with makeup and FX artists Naomi Mechem-Miller and Michelle Munoz to create the Real Fiction Studios FX team. In just a short time, Real Fiction Studios FX went on to win numerous awards for their makeup, special FX, and prosthetics leading to dozens of feature films, shorts, commercials, music videos, and events within the first year as a team becoming one of the biggest and best makeup and special FX companies in the PNW.
