Maria Togores is a Spanish director. After completing a two-year exchange program in cinema and television studies at Southern Illinois University in the United States, she graduated from the Complutense University of Madrid with an audiovisual communication major. She continued her studies with a television master's degree and several acting workshops such as the Hagen Summer Intensive in HB Studio NY. She began directing at the age of 27 and has since directed all kinds of television series in Spain such as Los pacientes del doctor García. She has explored drama, thriller or comedy as many other cinematographic genres.
